Uma Bailarina na Escola is a dance performance designed to be presented in unconventional spaces for children, in a family or school context.

By asking the question “Which part of the body do you like the most?” a ballerina establishes a dialogue with the students, dancing, talking to them about the body, creating the bridge between nature and thought, ending with a dance that they all (students and ballerina) develop together. A stimulating and fun performance that seeks to combine dance and thought, challenging the audience to observe, think and participate.

Aldara Bizarro is a choreographer and former dancer. She studied dance, from the age of 5, in Luanda, Lisbon, New York and Berlin.
As a performer she worked with several Portuguese choreographers in the 1980s and 1990s. She works as a choreographer since 1990 and is a member of the Nova Dança Portuguesa group represented in Europália 91. Her artistic work focuses on the creation for young audiences and the development of projects for the community, crossing dance with other arts, with a focus on the artistic, social and pedagogical component.
