miniLAB is a space for creative experimentation designed for children.
Led by artist Bernardo Chatillon, it engages children in exploring the body, voice, and imagination through performative games, movement exercises, and collective creation.
The workshop offers a playful and collaborative environment that stimulates creativity, individual expression, and the shared construction of meaning.
Bernardo Chatillon is a choreographer and performer who works in dance, performance, artistic research, and practices that intertwine sensory, poetic, and narrative spaces.
He made his debut with Artistas Unidos. After completing his studies at Chapitô, he joined the Formação Intensiva Acompanhada program at c.e.m and later attended the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema). Between 2012 and 2015, he was part of the ensemble of the National Theatre D. Maria II. In 2016, he moved to Berlin, where he collaborated in various formats and projects through artistic practices, encounters, and performances with Marc Lohr, Sigal Zouk, Mineral Wasser Kollektive, Peter Pleyer, Jeremy Wade, Benoît Lachambre, Keith Hennessy, Meg Stuart, Sandra Noeth, among others. He holds a master’s degree in Solo/Dance/Authorship (SODA) from the Inter-University Center for Dance Berlin.
Recently, he created the performances Reindeer Age #0 (2019), Reindeer Age #1 (2021), and O fazer do dizer (2022).
In 2023, he began teaching at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School and joined the board of the association R.I.Ju (Rancho Infantil e Juvenil de Coja) with the project Fôlego.
