A workshop of free brushstrokes and spontaneous movements. Using the Impressionist technique – quick, immediate and full of movement – we will start dancing! When are we trully impressed? Perhaps when something surprises us, touches us or makes us pause for a moment.
In this workshop, we will discover this through body, colour and movement.
Bring comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty!
Beatriz Marques Dias is a dancer, creator and artistic assistant. She holds a degree in Dance and has developed her work as a performer and co-creator of contemporary dance performances, workshop-performances for children, and participatory and community art projects.
She has collaborated with artists such as Tânia Carvalho, Francisco Camacho, Madalena Victorino and Ana Borralho & João Galante, among others.
In recent years, she been crating artistic challenge workshops for children, developed in different contexts, namely Gymnasium, the educational and artistic project of casaBranca in Lagos.
Since 2023, she has been involved with MEIO DO MATO, a cultural association founded by a group of friends who collectively foster artistic creation and rest in the Serra de Monchique. She is currently in her third year of a Psychology degree at ISPA and aims to create projects that bring together the three areas she works in: psychology, community and artistic practices.
