The scarecrow has a task that he cannot forgo: he scares the crow, that’s how things go. The crow pulls his leg by laying her egg inside the square while he’s standing right there. The crow is a pest: she makes her nest where she’s not a guest, and once she’s transgressed, she pulls the scarecrow into a quest that will leave him impressed. But things complexify… because of the eye. The scarecrow will cry, the eye will close as the crow sings a lullaby that nobody knows: o past, good-bye! Out of the way, we’re coming to change things and bring a new day!

Ana Madureira e Vahan Kerovpyan work across theatre, music, visual arts and education.
They create performances, workshops and publications for children, families and adults. With a refined visual and artistic language, simple and intuitive symbolism, and original texts and music that weave a dramaturgical and narrative tapestry rich in subtle layers, they seek to capture an essence that approximates the simplicity and complexity of a child’s language.
Adopting a poetic and thought-provoking approach, and with a desire to encourage independent thought and action in young people and those who accompany them, they have explored essential themes of life, such as marginalization, friendship, courage, the capacity for change and dreams.
In their artistic practice, they focus on live music, interaction with the audience, humour, poetry, recycling and serious issues.
